Fertility Stories - infertility experiences of people like you.

Usually you have a lot of cm (cervical mucus) right around ovulation, after which it decreases in quantity and becomes thicker.

If your HPT (home pregnancy test) is negative, wait a few days and repeat it. If it continues to be negative and you still don't get your period, it's a good idea to make a doctor's appointment to find out what's going on.

Good luck!

First, you may have ovulated late. If you didn't take an ovulation test, then you may be seeing CM as a result of your ovulation. Basal body temperature can be thrown off easily, so it's not reliable.

Second, if you're not using the first urine of the morning, a hpt may not be sensitive enough to detect your pregnancy this early if you are pregnant.
