PCOS and blocked tubes, how likely am I to get pregnent? My husband and I have been trying to conceive for two years. First firtility appointment showed I have PCOS. Was put on Metformin and told that I would be put on Clomid after 4 months providing that my tubes were ok. Next step was a Hystero-salpinogram (type of x-ray) where they inject dye through your tubes to see whether or not your tubes are blocked. The test showed that my right tube wasn't fully functioning and my left tube was completely blocked! Have been told that the next step will be a Laporoscopy. Does anyone know why if they already know the tubes are blocked? Also whats the chances of the clomid working if the egg can't get through the tubes?
