Fertility Stories - infertility experiences of people like you.

Clomid is considered safe and has relatively few side effects.

Many, many women conceive with the help of clomid - it is the most common fertility drug.

Good luck!

I was out on clomid once before. Apparently I had fibroids at the time. What happened was that the clomide fed the fibroids. By the time the fibroids were discovered, they were the size of grapes. The scares from the sugery to remove the fibroids left my tubes blocked. Just check with your doctor and make sure the clomid will not have any bad side effects.

You have to be aware of the possible side effects of this or any medication. The most dangerous side effect with clomid is the possibilty of cysts occuring on the ovary. In the event of bad cramping and alot of pain, you should go to your DR asap. Other side effects can be headaches, hot flushes, blurred vision, feeling very emotional. It is up to the individual what they can and can't take. I have been TTC for 2 years now because I have PCOS and so don't ovulate. Did not enjoy my time on clomid but will continue to use it as I desperately want to conceive. Hope this helps and good luck!
