It means you're infatuated with him. You like him. You have a crush on him. And so on.
Enjoy it while it lasts. If it ends, you'll have some great memories. If it continues, it'll mellow out and deepen.

I too would have used the word 'infatuated' enjoy it and see where it goes but don't rush any thing.
