I feel like my life is running away from me

I spend all my time working and I find that my life has little meaning. What can I do to add significance to my mundane day?

Aww Santa, they don't give you a break up there, do they?! Well, I have learned that even in the busiest of schedules we should always find a little time for ourselves: during lunch go for a walk with a co-worker (around a place where you can really have a breather). Try to do some kind of activity after work. Talk to your friends as much as possible. Try to get away at the weekend, if you can. I have a lot of work at the moment but just going for a run in the park in the late evening, reading a book in the subway and being in touch with my friends and family makes me appreciate every second that goes by. That's just me, though. Everyone is different but should always try to find a balance in life:o)

You should develop a hobby with projects so that you will have a feeling of accomplishment when a project is completed. Give yourself occasional treats to build up your self-image. Take some time off during the day to review all the good things in your life. You might be too involved with your work so take time of to go out with friends. Enjoy your children and watch them grow. Set goals in your life and when achieved reward yourself and go on to another set of goals.

Maybe you should get out more. Take a vacation. Travel to somewhere you've always wanted to go to. If you don't have time for that, go bowling, meet new people, add things in the day to look forward to. Go to a nice club, do something you really enjoy. Just some new things and always do your best to have fun with what you do. Hope it helps<3

As mundane as everyday activities can be, there is always the opportunity to surprise yourself.  Try and be outgoing.  Dont relegate yourself to set patterns and routines. Make an effort to do something that effects others positively and understand that it's a gesture that would be greatly appreciated if delivered to you.  The small things count and people appreciate them.

I find that volunteering helps make life more meaningful.  Coach a special needs sports group in your community, for example. If you are helping others and improving your community is some way, then you will get so much more from life.  Also, take a brisk walk everyday.  Pay close attention to nature and its many gifts.  Adopt a pet from a shelter.  Hope this helps!
