I love ducks...not to eat mind you, but just to watch them and enjoy their company. I work on a river that has loads of ducks that live by the boat docks. I and many others, feed the ducks daily. Mostly they get crackers and cereal and some bread, but recently, I found out that it is bad to feed the ducks bread and basically everything that they have been given. My question is...is there anything we can feed these ducks (I can tell others as well...) that is healthy / not harmful to them??

another question.. about ducks and chickens

If I did buy a "chicken" pen. Can I put baby/adult ducks in with baby/adult chickens?? Is it hard to raise chickens? I was thinking about getting some. It would be nice if they could share and wasting feed. It was mostly the chickens doing the wasting though because the ducks were woodies...
