Can you feed your dog bones? Lately I heard it is not so healthy for them.

Many people support the BARF (bones and raw food) diet for dogs.  However, the ASCPA says that are "risks from the raw bones used in many of these diets, including obstruction and/or perforation of the gastrointestinal tract - both of which have been reported.  Fractured teeth and gastroenteritis have also occurred in certain cases."  (

I have found that there not many bones that are good for dogs. (although the dog would not refuse it ) It has given my dog diarrhoea, also vomiting, It is best not too start them on any, as they soon learn bad habits as well as good.
