and yea just to add on to what somebody already said, models arent responsible really for promoting thin, its what the designers want so its up to them to refuse if they feel seriously about this issue. a great example is tyra banks who used to be almost stick thin, after she retired from modeling she has now become a curvacious woman who is showing women that she was thin to do a job and that being thin wasnt something she wanted to be. she's also a spokesperson for many young women out there who have fallen prey to this "stick thin" trend.
