A few weeks ago, I bought my fiance an engagement ring. I took on a good amount of debt to get it. It appraised for $1000 for then I paid. Now, my fiance found one flaw in the diamond, a little black spek. Now, she says every time she looks at it, all she sees are speks. Am I wrong for being hurt, almost wanting to cry?

No you're absolutely not. I don't know how to soften the blow on this one, but it sounds like your girlfriend is a little too materialistic. I get that some women like their diamond rings and that diamonds are a girl's bestfriend, but there's clearly something wrong when a woman who's just been engaged thinks more about the ring instead of the prospect of getting married.

On the other hand, maybe she's just tactless. Have you tried telling her that it hurts your feelings every time she does that? I wish you all the best.
