How is it that if you have a set of data, x1,y1....xn,yn with a known linear relationship between x & y (y = mx + c), and the best straight line fit MUST go through xbar, ybar (xbar average of all x values, ybar is average of all y values).

To be safe I would go to the doctor to see if you are pregnant, he/she will know for sure. However, you can still bleed while being pregnant, looks like you are pregnant! if you toke the test at the right time, in the right way it is 99% accurate. If you are, listen very carefully, you must smooth things out with this boy, being pregnant is a very serious deal. As much as we like to drive our point home in an argument, it is not always the best thing to do.  A good trick to do is humble your self a bit, and become very neutral almost, then he lets his guard down and suddenly feels more understanding. ( it works like a charm! never blame or accuse) As well some of the arguementing might of resulted from the stress of your lack of period and possible pregnancy, I know that when I thought i was pregnant, and was stressed all I did was cry on the phone to my boyfriend everyday. Take drastic action. Calm things down for your self as well as with him. Then after awhile talk to him about your current situation of being "pregnant". What are you going to do, If you honestly deep down think that things won't work out then it's all up to you, but if you think that maybe things just got a little rough due to outside factors, keep him, and deal with it together.

God bless you!! Mel

aquarious,

It is true that you can bleed/spot while being pregnant.  I suggest that you take another pregnancy test.  If it shows positive, then schedule a Dr. appointment after the bleeding stops.

I married my baby's father and had another child later.  You have some big decisions to make, if you are pregnant.  Getting married is not always the best option.  It depends on your relationship with the baby's father, if you both are committed to raising/providing for this child, and whether or not you are compatible.  A hostile environment is not a happy one for a child to blossom and grow.  Take your time in making a decision, so when you look back there are no regrets.

If I can be of help, please write and let me know.

Blessings,

~ nmpb ~

As far as your relationship with him goes, you must learn to communicate with each other instead of arguing & fighting. Learn to talk through your problems. If the 2 of you simply can't get along, regardless of your feelings for him, maybe he's not the one for you & it's not meant to be. Also, if a pregnancy test gave you a positive result, most likely you ARE pregnant. You really should have been using protection but it's too late for that now if in fact you are pregnant. I suggest you see an ob-gyn ASAP. The bleeding could be nothing to worry about but could also be something serious and it's better to be safe than sorry. If you happen to find out you aren't pregnant or have miscarried, please use protection & think about your future. If you are pregnant, prenatal care is very important throughout your entire pregnancy.
