I sent in my renewal for Family Health Plus. I never received a denial of coverage . Coverage expired on March 31, 2008. Can I access the reason for delay or denial of coverage?

There are all sorts of things that could have gone wrong on the way. I would call and see what exactly is the status with the renewal. That way you'll know exactly what's going on and you'll have peace of mind.

Yes may be you should  go and find out the why you dont received a denial of coverage yet. There could be some problem you have to better check out.

I don't see any reason why the insurance carrier will not reveal that information to you. They should have sent you a letter explaining why your insurance was canceled & since apparently they failed to do so, you have all rights to contact them & ask why your insurance was cancelled. Good luck, & let me know how it turns out.

Yes you can.  Contact your social services department and ask them why they cancelled you.  If you received no denial of coverage or a letter stating they were going to stop your coverage you have a right to find out what the reason is for ending your health coverage.  I wonder why you waited so long and did not act on this at the time you received a denial.  I am sure you can reapply.
