The time period often depends on the state and the type of the sale. Is the owner selling to an investor or are has the home been entirely foreclosed on and is going to bank (REO) sale?

You have to be out by the time the property is sold. I would try talking to the buyer of the property to see if anything could be done to allow you and your family to stay longer. Sounds like you've been a vicitm of fraud .

Yeah, the property just is in foreclosure. I guess that being foreclosure's simply the law of the land
