How to export/extract gmail headers for a period

I wonder if anybody has found how to do export Gmail headers?

In Lotus Notes or Outlook I could export all email headers for a date range to a csv file.  I was then able to sort and print etc and because most of my work is email based, I used this as a backup for a weekly work activity report.  I am desparately trying to to find out how do the same or similar with gmail.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!Smile

Hello Dave,

Unfortunately, I don't think Gmail or any other big mail services support that option. As I see it, you have a couple of options. The first is to forward your Gmail inbox into Outlook and then use its export features . The second is to manually copy and paste all the headers to a word document. I guess forwarding is much easier and with Gmail it's free as well.
