What is the most expensive religion?

In any religion some aspects cost money: rituals, special clothing and "offerings" are just a small part of any religion. But what is the religion that demands the most expensive tributes from its followers?

Jeremiah 23:19
Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked

Dyk you take peoples words and contradict them.  Do your own search then.  You do not want to believe that God exists.  It is not our responsibility or job to convince you.

Maybe it's because you attach it to the word religion.  God is not nor has he ever been a religion.  Jesus Christ is not a religion nor has he ever been.

Some poeple don't want to accept God or Jesus because then they have to make the right choice, between good and bad.  It they say there is not God.  Then they feel that frees them from having to "pay the price" of their choices in life.

If the Lord wanted to wake up dyk Njoy, he would.  Some are born of the devil and they will never accept God.  We have all talked to dyk like physicalist, butthead, etc.  They do not want to believe in God because some people are children of God and some are children of Satan.

We can hope they find their way, but it is their choice to find the way.  They like the wide road instead of the narrow road to Jesus.

He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one."

DYK, Thank you for your reply.  I feel honored that you would respond to my post so passionately.  You are satisfied with yourself.  I am satisfied with myself. You are still searching.  As am I.  We are in this world together as fellow travelers.  I welcome your thoughts and find them facinating.

DYK writes:  You may believe you know what you're saying with the above sentence, you it makes no sense.  What is done is to rebut assertions.  People (like you) can claim anything they wish, but the claim is no proof of anything.

For example, asserting becomes a substitute for responsible thinking.  You make the above assertion (accusation) but provide no support for it.  What should occur is an organization of your reasons for saying so, with specific references and examples.

Whirlwindflower wrote:  Do your own search then.

DYK writes:  No, since you, Faith, Njoy know the answers, you should be able to guide, show, explain, prove your claims.  Same for anyone asserting.  If someone claims that reincarnation is valid, then he or she should be able to provide some proof, other than expect someone just to be gullible enough to accept the assertion.

Whirlwindflower wrote:   You do not want to believe that God exists.

DYK writes:  Not wanting to believe has nothing to do with it.  It is the same as you not "wanting" to believe in reincarnation.  Why don't you believe in reincarnation?  Is it because you don't 'want to', or would not believe because you wouldn't have been provided any real reasons?  "Just believe..." doesn't work, since that command relates to ALL assertions of ALL gods.

Whirlwindflower wrote: It is not our responsibility or job to convince you.

DYK writes:  That's not germane.

Whirlwindflower wrote:  Maybe it's because you attach it to the word religion.  God is not nor has he ever been a religion.  Jesus Christ is not a religion nor has he ever been.

DYK writes:  It doesn't matter.  "God" is the object of the religion.  According to NJOY "God" is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH but she can't explain what she means.  Same for Faith.  The problem is the assertion and the expectation that the assertion should be believed.  This is a silly expectation.  Go back and think of reincarnation.  Why should anyone believe it because someone else says it's true, but can't begin to support the claim?

DYK writes:  It can't be any simpler than the reincarnation example.  Emphasize the simple part of it, so easy to understand that a right mind easily can see and understand the analogy.  Which goes to show what an "un" right mind can't do.

Whirlwindflower wrote:  We can hope they find their way, but it is their choice to find the way.  They like the wide road instead of the narrow road to Jesus.

DYK writes:  I note that Njoy and Faith do not habitually threaten, wish, hope, and send others to Hell, which you seem to do as a matter of course and Yedda record.  I wonder why you are so impelled?

Thank you Faith.  You and I both went to the dictionary for DYK and still S/He was not satisfied.  Finding your way is such a deep seated personal journey, I feel that all one can do is as you have done: point in the direction you have found most helpful in your own journey.  Thank you again.  Your explanations are so appreciated by me.  NJOY

For Njoy and any others:  I saw on another thread where Njoy said she doesn't look at the "comments".  But that's where some of the better discussions take place, in my opinion.  For example, Faith came back to comment on an answer of mine.  So, is it a good idea to skip the "comments"?

DYK.  Thank you for your comment.  You sound a bit Preachy/teachy to my ear. Or to use your very educated and astute vocabulary: didactic.  Are you sure we're not "talking with ten centuries of rain on the roof?"  NJOY

Jeremiah 23:19
Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked

It is hard people:  I can choose to not show you the truth and let you live in a dream world, or I can care enough to show you the truth:  I choose the truth while there is still time to turn to the Lord.

I also need to state something else.  This was one Jew, a bad one.  I do not believe that any race or person represents all.  I believe that the person themselves chooses good over evil or vice versa.  Our dear Savior Jesus was a Jew.  I am Cherokee one of the lost tribes of Israel.  What a person does rates him or her as good or bad, not a Race or Nationality.
