Does anyone know how to expand an eyelash extension business and what the income potential is for someone interested in being trained and certified in eyelash extensions as a specialty?

I think the best way to "expand" is to pair up with a beauty salon offer your services through them & business cards/advertisment

I have no idea what the income potential would be, you would have to check local cities or even larger cities in your area to see what others are charging...
In this economy, you'd have to really put your 'creative' hat on!!
I'm a retired makeup artist, by the way...
What type of area do you live in? small town, large city, etc.?? Let's face it, no one in a small town would be very interested in eyelash extensions!!! at least I don't think so!!
You could keep in mind the following areas; bridal shops, photo studios, professional women - when I was out of a job I sold cosmetics for one year - not a good time!! - and aimed my efforts at lady realtors......but that was when realtors were flying high!!
You should eventually give demos and casual talks about eyelash extensions...local ladies' groups, etc.
I'm really grabbing at straws here, as you can probably tell!! :D..But I hope all this 'rambling' will get you to thinking about solutions for your own particular situation!!

And remember the number one rule in sales, of any kind:
The customer has already made the purchase; all you are doing is telling them how to use it!!!!
This was told to me by a salesman many years ago, and I've always kept it in the back of my head in any selling situation; whether a product or a service!!!
If you go in to any selling situation with this in the back of your mind, you will succeed more often than not!!
It's a 'mind set' thing; what you think about, you bring about!!!!

How is it that if you have a set of data, x1,y1....xn,yn with a known linear relationship between x & y (y = mx + c), and the best straight line fit MUST go through xbar,ybar (xbar average of all x values, ybar is average of all y values).
You are stuck in something called a market myopia, which is the failure of a business to realize it's scope. So what u have to do in order to expand is to think of other things related to eye lash extentions, possibly nails? or hair what ever you are interested in. Because no matter how many people want there eye lashes longer you will get FAR more customers with an expansion of products, become a "beauty" company not just "eye lash extension" company.
