Really? How can you give a negative review when this is the truth. Sorry you don't like the way it sounds but it is what it is. With fitness, nutrition and exercise are your key factors. For a person to become lean and have their muscles highly visible and defined they must lose the fat, eat good, exercise, etc. Even if a person is skinny and does not weight a lot they can be "skinny fat" where they might be small but their body is not toned. Fat is not a -bad- word, but it is used very often when your speaking of fitness and getting in good shape.
I'm sorry you were so offended by my response. But the facts are the facts. The fat that you are targeting is called subcutaneous fat. The name comes from the fact that it is located underneath the skin. Everyone has it in their body, just to different extremes. I am sorry you are so sensitive about the subject but this is not something to become offended by when a person speaks to you about fitness.
The approach of overall fat loss, with abdominal fat loss being part of it, is what will make a persons abdominal muscles defined. Burning more calories through exercise will help keep your metabolism elevated. There are two very effective ways to keep your metabolic rate higher: cardio activity and basic compound movements. Abdominal exercises are an important part of the overall training routine but they will not showcase a persons abdominals with just working them alone. Their job is to condition and train the abdominal muscles for size. This is necessary for strong core development.
Now if you consider what I wrote in my previous response you can see I was merely trying to convey this message. If you are not getting your abs to “pop” like you want, it is because there is still some subcutaneous fat tissue covering the muscle. It's nothing to get in an uproar about and I did not put you down I merely answered the question you had posted. The solution is to lean out by modifying your workouts and the foods you eat, etc. I am 26 years old and I weigh 108lbs. I'm not close to being unhealthy or overweight, but I had a knee injury I am rehabbing and in the process the work I had accomplished on my abs has been set back, as you can see in my picture. Now, even though I do not weigh a lot I am still trying to lose weight to lean out. However, I am also gaining weight by adding more muscle (muscle weighs more than fat). Losing weight/ fat is not bad as in the way you misinterpreted what I wrote to you. If you do not have an open mind, and you do not want someones input, then do not put your question on here if you are too sensitive to hear other peoples replies. Nothing was meant to offend you. What I wrote is true when it comes to fitness. I was in no way being rude to you. People take the time out of there day to get on here to answer questions and help people in the on line community. Its not for cat fights. I would love to share fitness tips with you just realize I am here to help, not to be involved in drama.
