(First...do no harm)

A:

Hello~

I am a Christian and have studied wellness for about 30 years.

It was very interesting to discover that, like everything else, healing has also been adulterated (polluted) and is no longer practiced as God intended.

Until just recently, Christians were so afraid of healing that they presumed that using herbs and plant oils was an occult practice.  This was a result of not understanding that herbs and oils were the medicine of the day in biblical times (even Jesus used Frankincense and Myrrh) and that just because a plant has been used in some occult practice, doesn't mean that plants are no longer acceptable to God, Who told us in His Word that plants are for our healing.

The thing for us to remember is that "God had it first"--He was in the healing business since mankind was created and designed our bodies to heal themselves...and, as previously mentioned, He told us specifically that plants are for healing.

Having said this, we must also understand that a whole lot of mixing and adulterating has been going on over the years and what we have now is a very confusing mess and mixture of occult and God-given healing practices.

Our mission as Christians, if we accept it, is (as always) to separate the clean from the unclean and return to God's method of healing.

If you would like to study this very interesting topic further, you can subscribe to an email course called, "Healing Oils of the Bible".  The course is free and you can unsubscribe any time you wish.

Just type "Healing Oils Course" in the subject box and email to: NurturingLife@aol.com .

Be Well!
