How do you paint your front door without having the paint stick to the jamb or the weather stripping??
Remove the weather strip until the paint is dry. Either peel it out or un screw the metal strip and move it back. When you put it back the paint edge will show you how far to push it back. The type you peel out can be replaced just pushing it back in. I saw one guy remove his door and put up a sheet of ply wood until door was dry and then re hang it. You don't want the rubber to contact the latex paint or they will bond.
