How to use epoxy stain on concrete

how can i use epoxy stain on an interior concrete slab, and can it hide imperfections in the slab such as cracks & swirls? I am a custom ceramic installer and would like to get into custom staining as well.. (I know a good bit about concrete, just not about staining concrete.)
