To say nothing, especially when speaking, is half the art of diplomacy.

This web page has information concerning visa requirements for Panama.

Jan, as far as I know or believe a visa is required from the country which you want to visit.  Your USA visa is for the USA only.  If you call the Panamanian Council in your area they can give you the details on obtaining a visa for their country.  Even if they tell you that you can get it when you get there, we've found it best to get it before we leave to be certain we are cleared and have our papers ahead of time. Also, be sure to have your USA visa, passport and visa to Panama together so that when you return to the US you will have your entry papers upon arrival to get back into the USA.  You might even have to renew or get a new visa to the US if you travel out of this country to another.  I would check on that also.  Better to be safe than sorry and have some major hassle to deal with for which you are not prepared. I hope you have a great trouble free trip and I KNOW you will certainly enjoy the beauty of everything that Panama is.  ciao
