Ok so you don't have to convert your diesel engine over to biodiesel, does that go for tractors also? I also heard that you do have to convert your engine to biodiesel, is that just a myth?
Generally speaking, most of the diesel engines do NOT require any modification in order to use bio-diesel instead of petrodiesel. Only diesel engines that have natural rubber parts instead of synthetic rubber parts cannot use biodiesel, but these engines are not as common as the engines that can use the biodiesel. You should check with the manufacturer to know what kind of rubber parts do you have.
