If youare a complete novice don't try to install an electric fan into an old car yourself. The fitting through the radiator (high pressure water) is troublesome, you can get a kit that has a ready made seal, but they are not perfect, the best way is tyo have the thermostat soldered into the header tank, a fter that it is less technical, but there i\are still issues in regard to settings, electrcal conections (this is hi- current) and fusing, not a job for a novice.
