estradiol I have been taking this medication now for 5 days, how long does the nausea side effect stay? I have actually thrown up one time since starting this medication. I had my only lasting "motherboard" part (right ovary) taken out 11 days ago. Hot flashes are very bad, I feel like I am having a power serge. Please tell me this will go away or do I need to be concerned. The Dr. says this is normal. I am on 1mg of estradiol twice daily. Can this be too much?? PLEASE HELP !!!
