How do I become more effective at getting McCain elected?

How do I become very active in getting John McCain elected?  I am retired with lots of time for this topic.  However stuck here in the sticks of Maine I need motivation, goals, and most important information on how best to apply my time for my objective.  I have done lots already.  Read a stack of books on both McCain and oboma.  Someone out there can tell me how to be most effective.  Help me out here please.

Thank you for your quick in the right direction reply.  Seems how you and Obama have in common being hevery involed in the study of international law.  First I wanted to be sure I had most of my facts correct why McCain needs to be elected.  More then done my homework in this department.  Now I am ready for the action stage.  Yes, I am a member of McCain. Com.  Send him a considerable sum monthly.  I got the books, read em including the three Obama wrote, the bumper stickers, the pin and listen and talk McCain up every chance I get. Seems like a new hobby.   Respectfully, Lenny

You can start becoming active by helping to spread the word about McCain. Check out his official website here about getting involved. There are links to suggestions on what you can do to get him elected. Best of luck.

I almost forgot, you can drop by your local Republican National Party's office and join a local committee (that's what I did and have found much success in doing so).
