"Questions are the creative acts of intelligence."

There are many courses and degrees available in the Field of Information Technology. For example, I have an AA&S degree in Information Technology and an AA&S degree in Web Technology which are two of many.

One area of IT that is becoming more important to not only major businesses but in the field of law enforcement as well is Computer Forensics. This is one area that I really doubt will ever grind to a halt because crime is something that just won't disappear from our society and computer forensics uncovers the hidden facts that can get a conviction which will help control the widespread fraud that is running rampant in the world today. Computer crime is probably the most common crime in society today, computers make it easy to steal identities and computer forensics is one way to aid law enforcement in stopping it.

Other IT courses include: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer and Information Systems Security, Computer Graphics, Computer Networking and Telecommunications, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer Support Specialists, Computer Systems Analysis, Database Management, Information Science, Data Entry, Data Processing Technology, Game Design and Development, Information Technology, LAN and WAN Management, System Administration, Web Developement, Web Management, E-Commerce, Cyberlaw, Word Processing, Computer Repair and Maintenance, Computer Software Specialists, and Media Design and Technology. Computers will continue to become more and more advanced, programs will need to be written to adapt to those advancements in technology, and computers will need to be upgraded and repaired so this is a field that is here to stay and will be a major player in the world of business until the day comes where computers become smarter than humans and can do everything for themselves.

According to a Forrester Research study, global spending (in US dollars) on IT products and services will drop by three per cent in 2009, but subsequently rebound by about nine per cent in 2010. Though the current slowdown has drastically impacted the IT sector, fact remains that the demand for software professionals is bound to increase once the recession ends. This because organisations - be it governmental or MNCs - are constantly looking to leverage the power of information technology in order to become more efficient and technologically advanced. well you can read more on the time education site here is the link for your reference - http://educationtimes.com/educationTimes/getArticleDetail.do?sectionid=100&pageno=1&sectionname=cAreerZ-Others&articleid=2009070120090630161722687d5c75a4b&&&parent=96&parentname=Career+Profiles?=http://cms.mumbaimirror.com/Repository/3/publish/100/200907/thumb_90_2009070120090630161722687d5c75a4b.jpg
