Why do we eat fast food if it's bad for us?

If fast food is so bad for us, and a measly breakfast sandwich costs us the entire fat quota of the day, why do we go on eating this food?

A combination of lazyness, and convenience. Fast food outlets are nearly on every street corner, and requires absolutely no effort. I used to believe that addiction was also a reason, and it probably is to a degree, but not as much as I used to, as I have given up eating fast food without any problems.

You can't laugh for 365 days in a year.

Fast foods look appetizing and easily attract us, they are convenient and don't take long, most fast foods also smell nice making them difficult to resist. The marketers of fast foods such as McDonalds or KFC also do a good job leaving our mouths watery. To counter the effect of fast foods are lot of campaigning will have to be done.

It uses fats and crappy stuff, but it still tatses really good and fills you up more than, say, a salad with a light vinigar dressing.

Our bussy and lazy nature makes us prefer fast food which we can take and eat anywhere at any time even while walking on the street not minding the entire fat cost due to its convinience. I suggest we go for the slim versions, less fries, sandwich with more vegetable and fruits as fast food.

Be honest and be true to yourself.

Fast foods are there for people who say they are very busy.  They are too lazy to prepare a nutritious  meal.  It is also for convenience.  If people take time to prepare healthy food, we won't see a lot of obese people here in America.  These fast food cause higher cholesterol level, hypertension which eventually causes stroke.
