Yes. In fact you should never have to pay anything to participate in real paid surveys. If someone is charging you to take surveys they are not a real market research panel. Real paid surveys are conducted by legitimate market research companies that are paying you for providing feedback. Not the other way around.
If you are serious about taking paid surveys try joining PaidSurveySources.com . They have about 300 survey panels you can join for free. And they send out two paid surveys a day to all of their members.
