home d.i.y. maintenance. why does the drain line of heat pumps leak when the unit stops?
Not enough info, however it's probably just condesation..

I agree with the other responder: it's condensation. At the contact points along a cooling tube, the hotter air will release its moisture, similar to how the air in a car in which you are sitting will cause the windows to fog up the glass.
