I called an old friend who I had not seen or ...

I called an old friend who I had not seen or spoken to in 5 years and he came to visit me It was wonderful it felt like time had stood still the feeling were still there, He said we made a connection what does that mean? i enjoy being with him but I don't know if this will last I'm just enjoying him for now. Last year I had my heart broken by someone I thought I could trust so I am very careful of my feeling, what do you think.
