Is dueal exhaust with true x pipe worth it?

I have a 1979 Olds 98 with a 403 cu.in.engine with single exhaust. I want to install dueal exhaust with a true x pipe,I dont want a hot rod,but will this help the h.p. and torque much. Is the price worth the results. p.s. I do like the sound of dueal.s tho. Thanks for the help Russ
