Does drinking help me

Ok, I'm Taking a risk by asking this in the way that I am going to do this, so here goes why can I help people on reserch subjects, find solutions to unusual problems but only when I drink and not just a few pints, when I drink enough that should kill me, to give a example of what goes on when I get drunk I can watch tv, type and listen to music and still follow two or three people talking sometimes, it freaks my friends out. But to go back I can draw threads of ideas together in a way that works, and write it down and the majority of the things I come up with solve project problems for them, this is not only over one subject but many, but many but when I am sober why can I not do it. If You can explain this please help because from all that I have read my knowledge should be less and memory should be less because of drink. the only theory that i can come up with is that in someway I am limiting my own mind because of something and only when i drink i let myself use my mind. If you can help let me know on Spiller_cw@yahoo.com and please be honest and don't use this as a junk mail address because, well you know

You use all your resources and ideas to compensate for being under the influence perhaps.  Also I dont think it affects your memory or knowledge short term, just brain functions involving motor function and judgement but i am by no means an expert.
