You can use Biker Motorcycle Waterproofing Leather Cream . Makes leather soft and allows the fibers to breathe.

One of the car seat remedies at the auto parts store may be use on a smooth leather.  'Lexol' is a white cream in a orange bottle that may help.  There is a product available on line called 'Pecard' Leather conditioner that can help extreme dry conditions. You may want to consider a professional leather cleaner.  www.spotlessleather.com
