The coast between the Bahama's and Florida, all the way to Burmuda is probably the highest boat traffic area in the world. The Bahamian waters have always been one of the most dangerious areas to navigate because of the shallow water. The fast flowing Jet Stream creates cross currents both in the Sea and Air. I don't believe the airplane and boat losses are above normal for the amount of traffic in the area.

Scientists refuse to acknowledge the existence of anything they can't examine and quantify in the laboratory. Whether it's psychic ability, ghosts, the bermuda triangle, whatever, until they can get verifiable physical evidence it doesn't exist for them. I respect science but this is a peculiar blind spot they possess.

Unfortunately, the modern science can't answer some puzzling questions. It is a normal process, because every science must be in progress in order not to become a dead science.  Some mysteries of  the Bermuda Triangle are in the diapason of the questions that modern science can't give convincing answers. One of the new trends in modern science that potentially (in the future) may answer these quetions - informational security.
