What do "absolute movement mode" and "relative movement mode" mean for drawing tablets?

The mouse on the drawing tablet is different from your ordinary computer mouse. In the absolute mode the mouse position on the screen directly corresponds with it's physical location on the tablet. in the relative mode the mouse will act as a  regular mouse for high speed pointing.
