When dose a lease become void?

So my landllord owes me money and it's almost been sixty days since i've moved out. i just looked at my lease and the dates are from 9/1/06-8/30/06. So would this make the lease a void, and would it hold up in court if we were to take her to court to get the rest our money?

For sure, it sounds like you should talk to a lawyer about this.  I'm not sure that the lease would be void, but you should get your money.  I think it would be a pretty simple thing to solve in court, if you have to do that.  Maybe even threatening to go to court will get the person to pay.  Good luck.
