Dr. Edwin Vieira, Ph.D., J.D., discusses key economic and political issues facing America today including the Federal Reserve System, the North American Union, federalization and para-militarization of local police, the constitutional role of the militias and the history of, and weaknesses in, the U.S. currency and banking system. Vieira believes the current economic crisis is the latest chapter in the financial elites' use of the Hegelian Dialectic (problem-reaction-solution) to move the world along to their ultimate goal of global domination, one world government. Using as his example the engineered banking collapse of 1907 which the elites used as their reason to push the creation of the Federal Reserve System, Vieira opines that the current economic crisis will be used to usher in a new North American political and economic entity called the North American Union along with a new currency and super bank of North America. This North American Union will supercede the governments and central banks of the U.S. Canada and Mexico and diminish significantly the democratic rights of the citizens of those countries. In turn, posits Vieira, the North American Union will then join with another anti-democratic behemoth of the banking elite, the European Union, to form a new, larger super national governmental structure which will further erode the freedoms of the citizens of Europe and North America. This process of forming and merging unions will continue until finally the bankers' vision of a dictatorial global government is realized. Vieira proposes a new gold based currency system as a replacement for of the inherently weak Federal Reserve note and as an antidote to the imposition of a North American currency, the "Amero". As an antidote to the federal government's growing control over state and local police, Vieira prescribes the revitalization of the militias who, under the Constitution, are the only body empowered to enforce the laws of the land.
