How much does it cost to manufacture a one dollar bill, and are there any Coins that actually worth their cost of manufacture?
According to this
Great now all I need to know is where to buy them so cheap !
After working for the U.S. Treasury department for 10 years I have averaged out the normal cost of making a dollar bill. My average comes to about 3.78 cents. The dollar bill is actually made of the most cheap paper that you can buy. Combined with ink and special markings, the dollar bill is fairly easy to produce. Also very cheap. Although copying a dollar bill or getting the right printing press is extremely hard to come by and very much illegal.
