They well need you to be there when she is in labor or she wont finsh pushing them out and they well die, hope she has four or more to mak ethem smaller, when they are born they will be small but catch up in growth to be between dads and moms size, a few big, maybee one small the rest in the middle.
when she has them carfully lift her opening and slide the pupyy out one limb at a time, very carefull do not force the puppy out. its best you take her to the vet for a c-secton.

R.I.P. My Sweet Baby Gigi, In The Arms Of The Angels!

If your small dog was bred with a larger dog, then the puppies will most likely be too large for her to be able to whelp  (deliver) on her own and she will probably need a C-Section. If the puppies are too large, there is a much higher chance that she will have complications and if you don't get her to the vet fast enough, then her and her puppies can die! There is no telling how big the puppies will be or if it will affect their growth! You need to take your female to the vet, have and x-ray or ultrasound done, find out how many puppies she is carrying, how big the puppies are and if the vet thinks she can deliver the puppies on her own or if she will need a C-Section. Taking her to the vet is very important. The vet will be able to tell you more after he/she examines her and does an x-ray! When you take her in, please speak to your vet about having her Spayed. What kind of dog was the male she was bred with?
