I have heard before, that unlike females, male dogs can be bread their whole lives. I'm not sure if this is true, so I would check it out with a veteranarian.

Male dogs can breed up to their death! That isn't to say that they will be fertile, but the urge never leaves them.

Are you asking at what age a quality breeder would stop using a stud dog ?

 

Or to what age a dog is still physically able to breed ?  if that is the case, where there's a will ( and a bitch in heat ) there's a way !

 

And if that's your concern have him neutered, it's the best course of action to prevent any unwanted puppies.
