my 3 lb yorkie has a probin his ears, it looks like there are a bunch of scabs forming in his ear, can anyone tell me what this could be, and how to treat it
If you can't handle the truth, why bother to ask the question?
No one can answer this quetion and be sure to have a correct answer. We can all guess but you need to take the dog to the vet! It may be mites which is easily treated with neomyicin or something similiar or it may be something else! Without a diagnosis...who knows?

the doggie might have some ear mites or an infection should definitely be seen by a vet
Chihuahuas are little dogs, with great big hearts and a Macho streak!
The only one who can give you the answer to that question is a Veterinarian! It's possible it could be Ear Mites or an Ear Infection! The vet can look inside his ears, tell you what the problem is and treat it with the proper medication, to get rid of it. Don't wait too long, because it's painful and very uncomfortable for him!
it could be a number of things. it may be food allergies. the dog might have to go on a special type of dog food. the best way to find out is take the dog to the vet. i work at a vet office as a vet tech.
