My dog just started pooping in the house

My little dog is two and potty trained and recently has been pooping in the house the past 5 months even minutes after being left outside for 20-30 minutes.  I am in a new relationship and am 7 months pregnant. I keep wondering if this may have something to do with it. It has been suggested that maybe she is in heat and needs to be spade.  Not sure if there is any truth to that. I used to let the dog sleep with my 7 yr old but since all the accidents I now keep her in her kennel in my daughter room all night until morning.  During the day while I am at work she stays in her kennel until I come home at noon to let her out then, she goes back in until I get home.  That has been routine since she was a puppy. I always yell "no, bad dog!" and toss the poop and make her go outside after she does it.  What to do....

In a perfect world, every home would have a dog and every dog would have a home.

Does she alwas go in the same spot? If so she probably does it because one time five months ago she had to poop really bad so she went in the house and now you have the smell of it on your floor so she cant help herself. You can buy products to help get rid of the odor.

Has she been doing it for the same amount of time that you have been in the new relationship?  If so, she is probably angry about this new person.  Have your significant other warm up to her and give her treats, put down her food for her and give her lots of affection.  It may help once she is used to and enjoys the new person in your life.  The best product I have found for stains and the smell is OdoBan (Odor & Stain Carpet Pretreatment).  If she does keep going in the same place, use a puppy pad there for awhile until this gets under control.
