What steps are necessary to fix a leaking copper fitting(elbow)

? I have tried brushing then refluxing & resolderingt but can't stop the leak. The original plumbing to this fitting was done 6 mos ago with 1/2 in copper for a refer water line.

Leaks in leaking copper can usually be repaired by sawing the pipe directly at the point of the leak. You can also solder it. Light a BernzOmatic torch with a striker and start heating the joint.
