I have an electric smoke alarm that has a battery back up. It keeps beeping as if I need to change batteries. I have tried several batteries but it still continues to beep, what is the problem?
I am having the same problem. I just read that it might work to spray 3M dust remover in the unit rather than continue to change the batteries out. I'm going to give it a try!

You may have to reset it. Hold down the test button for a few seconds...
