I have a well with a bladder tank. Lately my pump is cycling often, like it did with my old non bladder tank when it needed air recharge. There is a air fitting on the top of the bladder tank. I need to know how much air pressure to put in it.
Find out the click on pressure by watching the gauge while turning on a fauset. The gauge will drop until you hear a click. (mine was at 40psi) add 3-5 psi to this number. Turn off the power to the pump and drain the tank by opening a fauset until it stops running. pressurize the tank to this value and turn the power back on.
