Hello.  Well I hope she was not stupid enough to face criminal charges if she is still leagally married to your son as well.  However, follow what the previous poster said.  Marriage and Divorce records, nationwide, are public record.  So you should not have a problem obtaining that info just as long as you know the state she claims she was married in.  I do know that it is possible to divorce a spouse with out the other knowing until after it's all over with.  But that is only in certain states.  You have to 'claim' that you cannot locate the other spouse.  So if she did. she could have said that, even though it was not true.  At any rate I wish your son luck and hope things work out.
