Hi, I see that you're really having trouble to decide. (I answered one of your questions about studying electronics a while ago). Anyway, whatever you choose, there will always be courses or subjects you will like more than others. I cannot advise you what to choose, but I can share some reasons why I chose electronics over mechanical engineering.  Reasons include much higher demand for eltx engineers in the market and higher salaries. If you'd like to hear some more about the studies I'll be happy to share.

The first year is mainly math. This holds true to all types of engineering, especially In eltx, where demands are higher and courses are wider. Second year (in eltx) is still primarily math but physics catch much bigger cut than on the first year. Personally, I manage well in math, but I don't find it very interesting. A couple of other courses on second year deal with semiconductors - transistors and micro eltx. These were the courses I've disliked most. Very abstract concepts and lots of "hand waving" (couldn't figure the English term). One course I've found interesting on the second year was introduction to control theory. It  combines math with practical eltx. There's no doubt about it, studies in eltx are demanding, even when comparing with other types of engineering. In a few month time I'll be starting my 5Th semester, which should be more practical than abstract math but is considered along with the 3Rd semester too be the hardest. That's pretty much it, if you've some more specific questions, keep sending them over. Again, Good luck.
