can intestinal gas travel to other parts of body causing striking pain?
About 5 months ago i started with upper gastric discomfort as if i had trapped gas in upper abdomen,accompanied with fullness noted under breast .Dr said the results showed acid reflux disease and a small hernia.
I was placed on prevacid ,however the systoms presisted .whether i had an empty stomache or a full stomache i was constantly bletching .I felt the gas pressure .I am taking overcounter meds for intestinal gas which helps and beano.What concerns me at present is a striking pain not too painful but a striking pain in upper right back between shoulder blade .I do feel relief when i expell gas and or have a bowel movement .Someone told me that it could be gas .So does gas travel from intestines to the back ,under breast bone etc? Thanks for taking my question
