I am currently obtaining a master's degree in ...

I am currently obtaining a master's degree in Information systems technology. I owned and operated a business on my own for 13 years and I may add that I was pretty successful . Do I need an MBA/IST to get a good position in the information systems tech field. What do you think. I changed from an MBA to Masters in Information systems technology. Now I am wondering if I did the right thing.
