Good diets while traveling

What are good diets which let you keep a flexible schedule while traveling?

I want to stick to a program but travel quite extensively and have to be able to be flexible as well.

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind....

What I try to do when traveling is that I don't eat big meals, unless something looks really appetizing.  I know that walking around, and seeing different things, I'm going to want to try the food of that place.  So, I always try to get just little things, as I go.  I feel like I'm not stuffing my face like a pig, and also that way, if I eat one thing, I don't feel badly getting something else a little bit later on.

I think the main problem with traveling is people choosing to eat at fast food restaurants since they think that a decent meal is time consuming. I would advise getting in a supermarket and buying some local low fat foods. Visiting a local fruit/vegetable  market is always fun and a lot more healthier.

About a travel diet, include lots of water, healthy snacks like nuts whole grain crackers etc.Try timing your meals, one big early dinner and a breakfast would be fine. Don't get caugh up traveling and missing out on a meal .

I find that eating in moderation and sensibly works well for me. If on business, I try to pick up some fresh fruit and pre cut veggies to keep in the room.

Best wishes!
