I would recommend following a Clean Eating Diet, which emphasizes whole, unprocessed foods, a good mix of carbs, lean protein and healthy fats and aims for maximum nutritional density. This is far superior to most "fad diets" out there and is one of the only tried-and-true diets that not only help you lose body fat, but also preserve lean tissue (i.e. "muscle"), reduce the risk of certain diseases as you get older and keep you healthy and energized.
