my dad has type 2 diabetes. so since he has to stay on a low carb diet, i buy whitewheat bread.that is the name of the bread. you roughly only get 14 grams of carbs from the bread. most other breads are much higher.it is all about reading labels.

Yes,  you will need to exercise  :)

One thing that makes that easier to do is to be doing something you like.  and to have a good complete program.  I highly recommend Beachbody products since I use them myself and they have something for everyone.  From dance to Yoga you will find a DVD workout you will love and stick with it.

There are also great online tools for meal plans and support.  There is even a free game that rewards you with cash and prize drawings everyday just for logging your workouts online.

My personal favorite programs are Power 90 or Turbo Jam!  They are fun and very effective. Also made for beginners and intermediate fitness levels.

As far as Bread specifically.  Well not all bread is bad.  White breads are not the best,  You should stick to a grain or wheat bread.  Moderation is key with these carb rich foods.  Grain bread is good but again in moderation.

Breads are not good at all in no amount. Exercise should be done at least 30-40 minutes 5 days a week. No less.

Whole grain is good for you, and exercise is key!
